As a Producer at 81monkeys, you are a thoughtful leader committed to promoting and maintaining studio culture and team morale. Your soft-touch approach will aid you in your main objective: to ensure the team has the support and resources they need, both to meet the studio’s ambitious goals, and to experience the studio’s core value everyday: Joy at Work. In addition to working closely with the team, you will work alongside the CEO/Game Director, funding partners, and work-for-hire clients to ensure the overall vision of the studio’s flagship project is achieved.

The starting annual salary range for this position is $85,000 to $100,000 (additional perks and incentives available), and will depend on skills, capabilities, and experience. We’re an indie studio on a tight budget, and we understand that our salaries are not competitive (yet). We also understand that the cost of living in the Lower Mainland is high. We are committed to keeping these two factors in mind as we work to find the right salaries for our team members. We believe that culture, team fit and the opportunity for growth are very important and always take these into account when hiring. Note: This position will be required to work from our Port Moody, BC office, with flexibility for occasional work-from-home days.

Features include a unique conversational dialogue system, custom worldbuilding tools that combine handcrafted environments with procedural elements to create thousands of unique locations to explore, unique fast-paced combat mechanics, and a focus on accessibility.
World of Anterra is an epic non-linear, open-world role playing adventure. The game features a handcrafted open world, deep progression systems, fast paced combat, and rich lore, all wrapped in a satisfying and tactile interface. It’s the type of game only an independent studio could make!
