AlterStaff Inc. is the team behind the hit-game, Yandere AI Girlfriend Simulator ~ With You ‘Til The End (demo available on itch.io, full game coming soon to Steam). It’s a first-of-its-kind immersive interactive escape room game with a Yandere AI girlfriend powered by ChatGPT. She does not want to let you out of the room, but you want to get out in whatever way possible – and with her as an AI NPC empowered by ChatGPT, there are endless ways to do so!

Our current project is AI2U: With You 'Til The End, a first-person escape room game with AI-powered NPCS who are desperate to keep you by their side... so much so that they will resort to drastic measures to keep you from leaving! Job Description:

We are seeking a talented and experienced UI/UX Designer / Artist to join our dynamic team. Ready to shape the future of gaming? We're looking for someone to help design a massive game world buzzing with smart AI characters. This is your chance to sprinkle your creative touch on a cutting-edge AI-powered game. Responsibilities:

• Design and implement UI/UX elements/frameworks to enhance visual appeal and user experience.
• Generate mock ups & prototypes for game UI interface.
• Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs for game applications.
• Advocate for the end-user throughout the design and development process.
• Continuously iterate on designs based on user feedback and data analysis.
• Work collaboratively with the art & design team to ensure a cohesive visual style throughout the game.

Qualifications:

• Proficiency in design and prototyping tools such as Figma, Sketch, Photoshop, Adobe XD, or similar.
• Strong understanding of UI/UX design including: graphic design (layout/composition, typography, iconography) and usability and function (button states, accessibility).
• Solid understanding of interaction design, user-centered design principles, and usability testing.
• Experience conducting user research and translating insights into actionable design solutions.
• Strong attention to detail and a passion for creating beautiful, functional, and intuitive designs.
• Effective communication skills, both in conveying ideas in a timely manner and working collaboratively within a team on a daily basis.
• Consideration for varying platforms, localization adjustments, and accessibility needs.
• 1+ year of experience working in Agile environments and on multi-disciplinary teams. 

Qualifying individuals should have a portfolio that demonstrates strong design and technical skills.

Additional Desired Skills/Experience:

• Experience with implementing UI and VFX animation in Unity3D.
• Experience with coding UI related scripts in Unity3D
• Prior experience in the game industry, whether indie or AAA.
• Experience working with mobile and PC games.
• Experience with creating game assets such as UI design.
• Passion for AI, sci-fi, anime, escape room games, or horror games.
