Armor Games Studios is looking for a highly creative, proactive, strategic, and experienced Part-Time Senior Marketing Manager!
For this senior-level role, we are seeking an autonomous leader capable of taking the reins on several upcoming game launches. You will own the marketing pipeline from start to finish and help us represent our games and the teams that made them in the most impactful way possible. A strong sense of initiative and the ability to work independently are essential. We are open to applicants from anywhere in the World, as long as you can commit to overlapping at least half of your working hours with our team (across central and eastern time zones) for meetings and coordination.
Role and Responsibilities
- Launch Strategy & Management: Lead, build, and execute comprehensive marketing launch plans for several upcoming game titles
- Timeline Planning: Collaborate closely with development teams and producers to align marketing campaign schedules with game development milestones, from pre-launch through post-launch phases.
- Event Submissions & Management: Identify, coordinate, and submit games to relevant digital and physical events, festivals, and showcases (e.g., Steam Next Fest, Day of the Devs, IGN Expo), acting as the on-site representative and champion for our titles when needed
- Data & Analytics: Monitor, track, and report on wishlist conversions, funnel metrics, and other key performance indicators (KPIs) to drive strategic decisions.
- Storefront Optimization: Lead Steam page optimizations, including A/B testing of assets, capsule art updates, SEO copy, and tagging strategies to maximize visibility and conversions.
- Localization: Analyze market trends to recommend target languages for localization. Drive the translation of marketing assets (trailers, store pages) and execute regional marketing beats, such as country-specific press releases, to maximize global reach.
- Asset & Social Strategy: Direct the creation of marketing assets (screenshots, GIFs, and video clips) and oversee the overarching strategy for social media campaigns across platforms.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with development teams, producers, and external partners to ensure marketing alignment with game development updates.
Desired Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in video game marketing, preferably within the indie game space.
- Demonstrated experience launching multiple PC and/or console titles using unique and creative marketing campaigns that standout in a crowded marketplace.
- Expert-level understanding of the Steam backend, store algorithms, and optimization best practices.
- Highly proactive and self-sufficient work ethic with an eagerness to identify and solve problems before they arise.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret market data and adjust strategies accordingly.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and project management skills.

- Experience working with multiple, concurrent teams of people and projects.
- Familiarity with PR outreach and managing external media/influencer relationships.
- Advanced experience with social media strategy and scheduling tools.

- Compensation: $45 to $55 per hour based on experience
