Bionic Wombat Games is hiring a UI Artist for an unannounced Unity project. This is a remote, paid, contract-based position, starting at four weeks with the potential to extend. The role is full-time, targeting 40 hours per week.
The game in development is an isometric, tile placement game where you build mazes for the enemies to navigate. It leans toward the tower defense genre with unique mechanics and a playful, oddball sense of humor.
Creativity is key. Your primary responsibility will be to concept and design a 3D object-based UI, taking the player interface beyond flat 2D sprites.
You will collaborate with the lead artist and programmer to integrate your designs seamlessly into the game, aligning with its vibrant, quirky style. This is a highly creative position and your creativity will be tested!
