Coexist Gaming is headquartered in New York City, NY and is looking for Unity Engineer(s) (remote/us) [contract] to join our team. Our flagship coworking video game bar and lounge is located on 325 W 38 St if you are local. Our ideal candidate is self-driven, ambitious, and reliable.

Job Description

We are looking for a passionate Unity Engineer to plan and implement a mobile application for Coexist Gaming. Your responsibilities include gathering user requirements, building mobile UI elements, integrating to back office systems and deploying applications to IOS and Android digital store fronts.

Responsibilities

Write well-designed, testable code
Produce specifications and determine operational feasibility
Integrate software components into a fully functional software system
Develop software verification plans and quality assurance procedures
Document and maintain software functionality
Troubleshoot, debug and upgrade existing systems
Deploy and package programs and evaluate user feedback
Comply with project plans and industry standards

Qualifications

Proven work experience as a Software Engineer and/or Unity Developer
Experience designing interactive applications for IOS and Android
Ability to develop software in C#
Experience developing UI for mobile applications in Unity
Experience writing custom integrations between software solutions
Experience with test-driven development
Proficiency in software engineering tools
Ability to document requirements and specifications
Must be eligible to work in United States
Critical thinker and problem-solving skills
Team player
Good time-management skills

Preference to Applicants With

Degree in Computer Science or equivalent
Experience using Unity
Experience with integrations APIs and external systems
Experience with setting up and deploying mobile applications
Experience with Firebase, Playfab, AWS or equivalent
Located near New York City, New York
