I am seeking a part-time Social Media Manager / Content Creator to assist with the marketing and content strategy for Mr. Sleepy Man, an upcoming indie 3D sandbox adventure game. This role is ideal for someone with experience in short-form video editing, social media marketing, and community engagement within the gaming industry.

About the Game:

Mr. Sleepy Man is a chaotic and comedic sandbox adventure where players cause mayhem in Bedtime Town. The game has gained traction on social media, particularly TikTok and Twitter, and I am looking for someone to help build on that momentum.

Responsibilities

🎥 Short-Form Video Creation (TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts)

• Produce 2-3 vertical videos per week (typically Mon, Wed, Fri).
• Edit short-form gameplay clips and assist with scripting as needed.
• Ensure content aligns with current trends and platform best practices.

📱 Social Media Management (X/Twitter & Bluesky)

• Create 3-4 gameplay clip posts per week to maintain engagement.
• Provide creative input on post captions and overall social media strategy.
• Manage and grow the game’s presence across social platforms.

📢 Community & Steam Marketing

• Publish 1 weekly Steam community post to support wishlist growth.
• Assist in developing strategies to increase engagement on Steam.

📅 Weekly Strategy Meetings

• Participate in a 30-minute to 1-hour check-in to plan content and discuss marketing goals.

Qualifications

✔ Proven experience with video editing for short-form content (TikTok, Reels, Shorts).

✔ Strong understanding of social media trends and audience engagement strategies.

✔ Experience in indie game marketing or community management is a plus.

✔ Ability to work independently while maintaining open communication and collaboration.

💰 Rate: $18/hr
