Dominion: A Fallen World, an innovative mobile game blending strategic combat with unique animations, seeks a skilled 2D Animator. Your work will bring life to our reward and loot system animations, along with additional animations essential for our UX/UI design.
Responsibilities:
- Design and animate reward and loot system sequences to enhance the gameplay experience.
- Develop a range of 2D animations based on our established art style and references, ensuring smooth integration with our mobile app’s UX/UI.
- Collaborate with the UX/UI team and developers to align animations with design and functionality goals.
- Integrate animations directly into our Unity-based game, ensuring compatibility and performance optimization for mobile platforms.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a 2D Animator, preferably within mobile games or apps.
- Strong understanding of Unity and experience integrating animations directly into Unity projects.
- Proficiency in animation tools such as After Effects, Spine, or similar software.
- Experience with performance optimization for mobile animations.
- Ability to adapt to our established art style while contributing creative input.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Game Feel and Timing: Skilled in creating polished, engaging animations with smooth timing and transitions, similar to the high-quality, satisfying animations seen in reward systems like Clash Royale.
- Particle Effects and VFX Skills: Proficiency with Unity’s particle system to add immersive visual effects such as sparkles, bursts, and shine to elevate the impact of reward animations.
- Knowledge of Unity Animation Tools: Proficiency in Unity Animator and Timeline, with the ability to create layered animations and interactive sequences for complex reward systems.
- Optimization for Mobile Performance: Expertise in optimizing detailed animations for mobile platforms without sacrificing quality, especially for visually rich animations like rewards chests and loot.
