Fiction Blues is a new indie game studio made up of AAA devs dedicated to crafting immersive, atmospheric experiences. We’re currently pushing the limits with something new, and we’re looking for a 2D Artist to help bring it to life.
If you're passionate about horror games, love designing characters, creatures, and UI, and want to be part of a small but ambitious team, we’d love to hear from you!
What You’ll Do:
- Create concept art to establish the visual identity of characters, creatures, and environments.
- Design monsters, humanoid figures, and otherworldly horrors that fit within our dark setting.
- Work closely with designers and 3D artists to ensure visual consistency across the game.
- Iterate on designs based on team feedback and gameplay needs.
What We’re Looking For:
- A strong portfolio showcasing character and creature designs in horror, dark fantasy, or science fiction settings.
- Experience with concept art for a 3D space.
- Understanding of composition, lighting, and atmospheric storytelling.
- Familiarity with Photoshop, Procreate, or other digital painting tools.
- Ability to work in a semi-realistic or stylized art style that fits our horror aesthetic.
- Passion for horror games, storytelling, and immersive world-building.
- Self-motivated and able to work remotely with clear communication.
Bonus Skills (Not Required, but a Plus):
- Experience with UI design.
- Knowledge of Unreal Engine UI workflows.
- Previous work on horror, thriller or dark atmospheric games.
