Funktronic Labs, a small indie game studio in Pasadena California (est. 2013), is looking for a Marketing Director to lead the charge on our upcoming console title. You’ll own our marketing strategy from top to bottom — crafting campaigns that bring our PC and console titles to life and resonate with players worldwide.

What you'll do:

• Develop and execute end-to-end marketing campaigns for upcoming title
• Define brand voice, positioning, and go-to-market strategies
• Own our presence on social media, with a strong focus on short-form video content
• Optimize store pages (like Steam) to maximize visibility and conversion
• Lead influencer outreach and forge meaningful creator partnerships
• Coordinate trailers, store assets, and event presence
• Collaborate closely with devs to align product and marketing narratives
• Strategically place ads and promotional content where they’ll make the biggest impact
• Analyze campaign performance and player feedback to continuously level up strategy
• Build and engage our community through thoughtful content and authentic storytelling

This role is perfect for someone who lives and breathes games, gets excited about indie creativity, and knows how to turn a moment into momentum. Ideally local in-house (Los Angeles area) but can consider remote as well.
