OmniMegaSuperCorp is developing Ledgerbound, a hilarious, narrative-driven tactical RPG filled with your favorite epic fantasy activities: battling evil enemies, filling out paperwork, and rescuing your company from financial ruin. As our Community & Social Media Manager, you will help build a diverse and safe community for our players to enjoy! In this role, you are responsible for crafting and executing communications on our social media platforms, working alongside our Community Director. You are one of the first official points of contact for our players through social media.

Candidates will be required to provide a portfolio and explanation of work.

Job Description

As a Community & Social Media Manager, you are a part of a team that is passionate about creating innovative content and keeping our games a safe and welcoming place for gamers from all walks of life. You develop inclusive and active communities through player engagement, content creation, and moderation. Your main tasks and responsibilities are: 

• Ideate and execute a content calendar (including social media posts and blog articles) that engages, informs, and excites our audience
• Increase our fan base, fostering a positive community, and establishing a feedback loop with players via social networking
• Assist with the creation of social media assets (e.g. livestreams, images, videos, game capture sessions, animated GIFs)
• Help with ideating and organizing community initiatives (e.g giveaways, user generated content, contests, challenges)
• Build and maintain relationships with key community members and content creators, collaborating closely to ensure their participation is seamlessly woven into marketing efforts
• Track, measure, and report on social engagement and player sentiments
• Advocate for community needs by providing actionable insights to stakeholders that improve the player experience.

Requirements

We’re looking for a Community Manager who has the following skills:

• You’re at home being part of an independent and nimble team of 25+ game developers
• You have several years of experience leading content calendars across social media platforms Discord, TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, and forums
• You are skilled and comfortable using tools to create and manage assets (e.g Adobe Photoshop, Premiere, Illustrator, OBS)
• You’ve mastered the English language
• You’re comfortable gathering and reporting social media analytics to inform and drive social strategy
• You can work in the EST +/- 2 hours time zone

Nice to Have:

• Previously shipped titles
• A love of secondary-world fantasies
• A love of Tactical RPGS and Narrative Games

Compensation: 

• Compensation depends on seniority/level of applicant 
• Profit share in game, salary, or a combination of both
• Full or part time, number of weekly hours negotiable
• As a new self-funded studio, please be aware that depending on your salary expectations, our compensation packages can involve both salary and profit share to offset our lower operational budget
