About the Game
We’re building Reply All — a roguelike deckbuilder where email is turn-based combat. Our UI is central to the experience. It’s not just menus—it’s the medium of play. Emails, tone, and interaction all live through the interface, which means UI needs to feel expressive, responsive, and alive.
The Role
We’re looking for a UI Designer & Animator who demonstrably appreciates UI and responsive design, someone who cares about how things look, feel, and react.
Working closely with the Art Director, you’ll execute UI designs and animations for use in the Unreal Editor that align with the game’s visual direction, while helping ensure the interface adapts cleanly across layouts, states, and interactions.
You’ll collaborate with design and engineering to build reusable, data-driven UI systems that feel great to use.
What You’ll Do
- Create UI designs and animations following the direction of the Art Director
- Design clean, readable, and expressive UI with a strong focus on responsiveness and adaptability
- Build interactive animations and transitions using Rive
- Develop reusable UI systems that respond to game data and layout changes
- Collaborate with design and engineering to implement UI flows
- Iterate quickly on feedback to refine feel, clarity, and responsiveness
- Help ensure UI scales and behave well across different resolutions and use cases
Requirements:
- You must be Based in Ontario, Canada
- Have a strong graphic design portfolio (UI/UX + visual design)
- A clear passion for UI, interaction design, and responsive layouts
- Experience with vector art and animation tools
- Good sense of motion, timing, and interaction design
- Ability to translate art direction into polished, functional UI
- Collaborative mindset and comfort working across disciplines
Rive / Animation Experience (Flexible)
