Pushing Vertices is looking for a contract 3D Character Animator. We are developing for Steam/PC and potentially other platforms.
We are working on a prototype for RollerGirl, an Adventure-Narrative game set in the 2000s. All about music, rollerblading and exploration as a teenage girl in a small town.
We are looking for a 3D character animator to create unique rollerblading animations for our player character.
Previously we were working with some motion capture data and both motion capture and hand-animated animations. We think it’ll be easier to animate by hand but if you have experience with mo-cap pipelines we would love to hear about it.
Our current character rig is in Maya and we are using a Maya to Unity workflow.
We would also love to hear about past rigging experience in case our current rig needs to be adjusted but this is not required.
This would be a short, part-time, fully remote contract position (total budget $5,000 USD for animations with potential for more) starting right away.
We highly encourage applicants from underrepresented communities to apply.
We are currently looking to complete 9 animations:
