Quantum Tech Partners is looking for talented Financial / Business Analysts working on acquisition and fundraising transactions for our video game clients worldwide. This position is remote, you can work from anywhere in the world, overlapping for 3 or 4 hours with the PST time zone. You must have a passion for the gaming industry.

You will be a key member of the transaction and business development team, working directly with leading gaming companies to support the completion of M&A and fundraising deals. You will be responsible for analyzing gaming-related business models, gathering and interpreting data and KPIs, researching business trends, contributing to reports and presentations and keeping up to date on the latest gaming developments. More broadly, you will have the opportunity to conduct industry and market research as well as create business overview decks used in communication with investors and buyers.

Financial Analysis

• Analyze current and past financial data and performance to build financial models
• Build and update valuation models based on public comparables and comparable transactions
• Interpret financial data to recognize changing trends, patterns, and their meaning related to key performance indicators

Data Analysis & Reporting

• Perform analysis and extract valuable insights from collected data. Identify trends, patterns, and anomalies relevant to performance
• Develop informative and visually engaging charts for presentation material

Market and Business Analysis

• Understand the gaming and entertainment industry, including technology and competitive trends, through research; apply that knowledge to understand how various clients are positioned within the industry, and leverage that knowledge to impact transactions
• Consolidate information into reports to present/share insights with the team, informing internal and external teams
• Be at the forefront of the continuous gathering of information on the most interesting gaming companies

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, or Finance or equivalent alternative education, skills and/or practical experience
• 2+ years of financial analysis, data analysis, market research or a related field
• Experience in strategic finance, corporate development, investment banking, and/or management consulting is highly preferred
• Knowledge and understanding of the key companies in the gaming, entertainment and/or software is highly preferred
• Fluency in Microsoft Office / Google Docs Suite; Advanced knowledge of Excel and Powerpoint
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to present data-driven insights
• Strong interpersonal skills to interact with clients, management, and peers
