We are looking for an Unreal Engine developer experienced with programming third-person combat systems with a particular focus on melee.

Please note we are working in UE version 4.27.2 and utilizing the Gameplay Ability System and you must have working knowledge of GAS to fill this position as well as portfolio pieces that demonstrate your skills.

You will be responsible for implementing our existing game design document and working with the director and designer by providing your own ideas and feedback to increase overall quality of the project.

Your input will be appreciated and valued throughout the process!

This is a fully remote position and you are welcome to set your own schedule outside of our mandatory team meetings/standups to discuss progress.

 

Universal Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience working in game development (at least 2 years in UE)
  • Portfolio of working projects
  • C++ competent
  • Intermediate to advanced blueprint skills
  • Experience with repository and source control such as perforce and github
  • Solid debugging
  • Great communication skills

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience creating AI for enemies and ally characters in open or semi-open world titles
  • Animation blueprints and light animation tasks
  • FMOD and sound effects
  • Successful PC titles in your portfolio
  • Able to provide feedback and instructions to junior developers

 

This is a remote position with flexible hours - no need to relocate!
