Riftweaver, Inc. is seeking a Senior Community Manager to join our team and help us launch the next generation of virtual tabletop roleplaying games!

As a Senior Community Manager, you’ll help steward and grow the exceptional community surrounding Tales of Fablecraft. You’ll work directly in Discord and across our online platforms to support existing players, grow the Fablecraft community, and serve as a voice for developers to fans and fans to developers.

Working closely with the studio’s Director of User Acquisition, you’ll help develop and execute a comprehensive marketing strategy focused on growth and retention.

The Ideal Candidate

We seek a candidate with a passion for player engagement and the acumen and mindset to develop marketing strategies and execute on deliverables. The ideal candidate will have experience working at a high velocity and a track record of community success within the indie games space.

You’ll serve as the conduit between players and developers, sharing the story of Fablecraft’s development while advocating for the wants and needs of our player base.

Experience / Requirements

• 5+ years of marketing or community experience.
• 5-10 years of total professional experience.
• Exceptional communication skills.
• This is a fully remote role, but candidates must be US-based.
• Open to traveling to cons and company events.
• This is a hands-on role, and you will be working on both content and strategy.

Nice-to-Haves

• Marketing agency experience.
• Worked on shipped mobile, console, or PC games.
• Experience in, and enthusiasm for, playing TTRPGs or Desktop RPGs.

Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities 

• Serve as an active community presence across all online platforms.
• Monitor, respond to, and escalate community concerns on all platforms.
• Plan, create, and execute organic social campaigns.
• Create and post original content across social media platforms.
• Create and run community-focused events on all platforms, especially Discord.
• Oversee the volunteer mods that help make our Discord fantastic.
• Serve as an advocate for the community to our development team.
• Represent Riftweaver and Fablecraft in TTRPG communities beyond our own.
• Collect and monitor organic analytics across platforms and signal when deeper analysis is required.
• Write and produce blog posts and developer updates.
• Strategize and execute community and social tasks for regular game updates.

Compensation

The pay range for this position at the start of employment is expected to be $100,000 - $110,000 per year. However, base pay may vary further depending on individualized factors for candidates, such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and other objective business considerations. Subject to those same considerations, the total compensation package for this position may include other elements, including equity awards and a full range of medical, financial, and other benefits.
