This is a full or part-time and remote 18 month contract with potential to move to a permanent position.

Due to the nature of our funding we can ONLY hire people who reside at a UK address. 

Sketchbook Games are looking for a talented producer, who’s a good communicator, with a calm and kind nature, to join and help build the team working on our next game. Our ideal candidate would be someone with industry experience and knowledge of Agile or Lean production methodologies.

We have flexible working hours around GMT/BST and are hoping to try and find a suitable location to meet up for co-working occasionally such as London, Guildford or Suffolk/Essex.

 

Must have:

  • Production experience of shipping at least one commercial game

  • Help the team with time estimates so we can plan deadlines
  • Identify bug trends and keep the team on track
  • Apply for grants and help with grant reporting admin
  • Coordinate and assist with marketing, social media, focus testing and more
  • Support the CEO with studio admin
  • Help with any other tasks to ensure the smooth running of the studio

Sketchbook Games

Sketchbook Games are a small independent studio based on the Suffolk/ Essex border, although we mostly work remotely. Our debut game, Lost Words: Beyond the Page is available on Steam, PlayStation, Xbox, Switch and mobile, featuring a story written by renowned games writer Rhianna Pratchett and an orchestral soundtrack by BAFTA nominated composer David Housden. We are currently working on an exciting new project looking at improving player’s mental health.

Featuring a story by renowned games writer Rhianna Pratchett the game ties the narrative into the gameplay in an unusual way, by having the player running on and interacting with words to solve puzzles.
