Skymap is seeking an Executive Producer to facilitate and encourage successful product development via people, project and relationship management. This position will spearhead the internal team’s work effort to hit goals and milestones across engineering, art, design, product, QA, live ops and all development disciplines of building and shipping games and content. 

The Executive Producer is responsible for the day-to-day execution of Skymap's projects and will work closely with stakeholders to maintain the project schedules for the studio, and to ensure each project has the resources necessary to be successful. As a production leader for the company, you are responsible for developing a culture that exemplifies the core values of positivity, accountability and collaboration. 

 

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate the delivery of high-quality game experiences within time and budget. 
  • Use positive and active communication to constantly manage expectations across teams both internally and externally.  
  • Develop/approve and maintain project schedules. 
  • Manage internal resources including producers and project managers 
  • Manage the operational budget of all projects and initiatives.  
  • Ensure each project has the resources necessary to be executed successfully. 
  • Contribute to building and maintaining a strong, open, and supportive team and company culture through regular, transparent communication. 
  • Implement standardized processes and reporting procedures across all projects. 
  • Work closely with leads on day-to-day maintenance, organization, and management of the schedule(s) and resources. 
  • Use positive and active communication to constantly manage expectations across teams both internally and externally 
  • Provide regular written reports on the state of the project(s), to relevant stakeholders 
  • Identify development issues in the organization and set goals to address them. 

 

Qualifications 

  • 7+ years as a producer or Senior Producer in the games industry 
  • Multiple shipped titles, preferably across PC/Console 
  • Experience in Development, Publishing and Live Operations 
  • Experience leading internal and external teams 
  • Experience in project management / task tracking software (JIRA, ClickUp, etc.) 
  • Experience with budgets, P&Ls or similar responsibilities 
  • Proven experience in managing development teams using Scrum Development and Agile methodologies. 

  

Pluses 

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field 
  • A passion for video games  

 

Compensation and Benefits 

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US (United States) geographic markets; compensation range may differ outside of the US. The base pay for this position ranges from $90,000/year up to $160,000/year. Pay is based on multiple factors including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Skymap is a total compensation company. Depending on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
