We’re excited to welcome an Art Generalist to our small but passionate team! You’ll work closely with designers and programmers to bring our game’s world to life, from environments and props to creatures and visual polish. As a lean team, your work will have a direct impact from day one, with room to grow into a leading role as the project scales.

 

🎯 What You’ll Do

You’ll create and implement a wide range of assets across the game, supporting both gameplay and world-building. This includes environments, props, creatures, and visual effects, all aligned with our pixel-influenced visual direction.

You’ll work closely with the design department to ensure assets are readable and functional in first person, focusing on clarity, silhouette, and strong visual language over raw detail. You’ll also collaborate with the dev team to get assets working in-engine and help improve the art pipeline where needed.

You’ll stay aligned with the team’s development cycle, helping ensure your work fits cleanly into upcoming milestones while maintaining a steady and reliable output.

This role is expected to grow over time. As the team expands, there is a clear path to step into an art lead position, helping define direction and guide other artists.

 

🛠️ Must Haves

  • At least 3 years of professional experience in game art (or equivalent shipped/polished work)
  • Strong generalist skillset, modeling, texturing, technical, or animation
  • Understanding of pixel art direction and stylization
  • Comfortable working in a low-poly voxel-inspired style
  • Ability to create game-ready assets with performance and readability in mind
  • Comfortable communicating in conversational English
  • CET Timezone is heavily preferred

 

✨ Bonus Skills

  • Strong pixel art portfolio
  • Familiarity with nearest-neighbor and pixel-perfect workflows
  • Experience with voxel or grid-based asset creation
  • Experience with particle-based VFX systems
  • Basic rigging, first- or third-person animation experience
  • Experience implementing assets directly into the engine
  • Background in sandbox, survival, or UGC-driven games

  

⏰ Timeline & Compensation

  • Start: ASAP
  • Contract: Contractor or Full-time
  • Paid Time Off, Holidays, and Two Weeks’ Winter Break are offered to both contractor or fulltime
  • Probation: 3 months
  • Rate: Minimum USD $45,000 per year (negotiable with experience)
  • Location: Fully Remote in CET Core Hours
