Tech Tree Games is hiring part-time contractors!

We’re a small mobile studio based out of the US with a few successful live games and more in development, and we’re looking to bring on more people to help take prototype game concepts into production. We care first and foremost about making games that we ourselves want to play with an emphasis on incremental and strategy games. All work is global, remote, and contract based with flexible hours depending on individual and the workload. We have several developers who have been with us for years and work full-time hours, and this structure lets us work with skilled indie developers in most parts of the world.

What we're looking for

Right now we are hiring a gameplay programmer with at least a couple of years professional experience in Unity and mobile games. The ideal candidate has the technical ability to create something scalable as we shift from prototyping to production as well as some interest in design to help build the most fun and exciting game possible. This is a small game with just a couple of developers working together with a full-time designer and has the potential to scale to be our most successful game yet.

How we work

This is a remote contract position with flexible hours and global availability. We’re looking for someone that can put in an estimated 20-40 hours per week with hours and schedule entirely up to you. Communication will be done via email and our internal Discord server. Source control is through Plastic SCM. 

Requirements

Please note that prior experience with mobile games is considered a requirement for this role, but exact responsibility and compensation are flexible depending on the candidate’s experience. While this is intended as a more junior position, we may have openings for more senior talent in the next few months.
