Responsibilities
- Design, construct, and maintain scalable data pipelines for game analytics and player data.
- Collaborate with engineering and product teams to define data requirements and ensure alignment with project goals.
- Analyze complex data sets to derive actionable insights that inform game design and development.
- Implement data models and maintain data integrity and quality throughout the systems.
- Support data-related tools and processes that enhance team productivity and decision-making.
- Build reporting and visualization tools that display key metrics and trends for project stakeholders.
- Optimize data storage solutions to ensure efficiency and speed in data retrieval and analysis.
Requirements
- Experience as a Data Engineer or in a similar role with a strong portfolio of work.
- Proficiency in SQL and experience with data warehousing solutions like Redshift or BigQuery.
- Experience with programming languages such as Python, Java, or Scala for data manipulation and analysis.
- Familiarity with data visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI, or similar.
- Strong understanding of ETL processes and tools to transform data into actionable insights.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
