World Reborn is looking for a full-time producer to join our fully remote team and contribute the following:
- Own project management at Wicked Saints, which means individual contributor work in the short term and the capacity to grow and lead a team in the longer term
- Work with the founders to understand the intent and purpose behind long-term plans, short-term milestones, and individual features; redirect discussions at every level to articulate the problem needing to be solved and focus on the goals
- Ensure the team has the best organizational structure, processes, and practices that allow them to produce high quality work efficiently and on time
- Communicate frequently with leadership and the company on project status, risks, and opportunities, providing transparency to all stakeholders to ensure they are properly informed of any impacts
- Drive the game production end to end including concepting, iteration, development processes, production planning, status reporting, risk management, and testing
- Own the outcome–no matter the complexity or challenges, ensure that our products launch and operate successfully
- Manage the team’s real-time response to issues during live ops, crystallizing priorities and creating quick plans to fight fires with high visibility
In addition to being a nice human, the ideal candidate will meet at least several of the following requirements:
- 6+ years experience in project management for consumer tech or games
- You have shipped a minimum of two large scale projects through complete development cycles, ideally on mobile platforms
- At home in a cross-functional, team-based environment, and has the ability to thrive in and promote a culture of collaboration and transparency
- Startup mentality–a willingness to don multiple hats, take on whatever tasks are required, and be a team player
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and be sufficiently adaptable to handle dynamic situations with little advance notice
- Experience in an environment where you had to exhibit amazing problem-solving skills daily, viewing each new problem as an opportunity for success
- Self-starter–you approach challenges creatively, methodically, and with curiosity, seeing them through to final resolution
- Deep understanding of game development, software development process, and project management practices
- High emotional intelligence and excels at communicating effectively both orally and in writing across an international team, including asynchronous interactions with others
- Experience working with a fully remote team and the communication challenges that can come with it
- Ability to drive high velocity, high impact development cycles, balancing out short-term needs and long-term vision
Bonus points for:
- Narrative game development experience
- Passion for narrative games
- Background in understanding data analytics
