btf (bildundtonfabrik) is an independent production company for fiction, shows, documentaries, games and adverts. From conception and script to visual effects: everything is made with love in Ehrenfeld, Cologne & Kreuzberg, Berlin.

No matter what we dare to do, one thing is always a requirement: the result will be a coherent overall product, well thought out from start to finish. Because from the idea to the final cut, via the filming, special effects and the suitable online concept, it’s all done in-house using our hands and our heads. Organic and fair trade, if you like.

Everything we do, we do with passion and the will to innovate. We’ve also won awards for this. Loyal companions include the Grimme-Preis (Grimme Award), the Deutscher Fernsehpreis (German Television Award), the Romy, as well as the Deutsche Comedypreis (German Comedy Award) and Rose d’Or. Our newly founded advertising department has also already won several ADC awards. But let’s not talk too much about awards. We’re much too modest for that ;)

btf is all this and more and we’ve by no means explored and attempted everything on our creative agenda. We’ll keep at it!
