Hi, we're FuturLab! We are an award-winning video game studio based in Brighton, UK. We believe that happy, healthy teams make great games, so we take a people-first, no-crunch approach to development.

We’re best known for our critically acclaimed Velocity series and, of course, our super-soothing hit PowerWash Simulator, which has set us on a path of pioneering games designed to soothe and satisfy.

We’ve been creating unique gaming experiences since 2003. From humble beginnings creating flash games as a two-person outfit to the over 100-strong team we have today, we’ve grown alongside the industry and are proud to be a part of the UK’s gaming heritage.

Why FuturLab?

FuturLab began as an ambitious duo working out of a living room. 20 years and 5 offices later, we’re now a 100-strong, remote-friendly studio with a sunny HQ in Brighton. Whilst we’ve grown in numbers, we’ve tenaciously defended the close-knit, collaborative feeling of a small studio, at the same time, using our successes to invest in new ways to improve the lives of our team, both inside and outside of work.

From art to programming to marketing - and everything in between – FuturLab is home to some of the most talented creatives in the industry. We value skill, humility and kindness – so we’re a friendly bunch too! We look for these same traits in any potential newcomers.

Whether stationed at home or from FuturLab HQ, we all work within the studio hours of 9am-5pm to make collaboration as easy as possible. We are a proud no-crunch studio, so, come 5pm, we down tools and enjoy life outside of work.
