Voids Within is a new independent game developer in Toronto, Canada creating innovative video games.
Voids Within is the solo indie game label of Matt Marshall, a designer and developer with 10 years of experience in games, VR, and other interactive media. In 2022, Matt left his job, sold all his belongings in Toronto, and embarked on a journey across Asia to pursue his creative passion and explore new cultures and perspectives while making independent games.
Matt travels and works from a single 35L backpack and is a proud digital nomad who visited Vietnam, Thailand, Japan, and Indonesia in 2023. He has eaten snails, scorpions, and a live beating cobra heart.
Dystopika is Matt’s first project as Voids Within.
We’ve been lucky to have some incredible jobs working at and partnering with some of the biggest brands in video games.
But we’ve never had more fun and been more fulfilled than when we were working with indie game developers.
Everyone in games should have that much fun.
Our hope is that Work With Indies will connect job seekers with the most rewarding, most inspirational, and most fun jobs they've ever had.
