Factories in Factories in Factories is an indie PC game by Abe Wits. Mine resources, automate your factory and explore a fractal world. It is in pre-production and expected to release in 2026. An early trailer/marketing test is the top-rated post of all time on a small subreddit /r/AutomationGames.

 

What you will do

  • Make modular 2D art – sprites composed by the player.
  • Iterate based on (player) feedback.
  • Establish the art style.

 

What I can offer

  • Payment and/or revenue share.
  • Explore a unique design space.
  • Have a big impact in a small team.
  • Work remote or from Dutch Game Nest in Utrecht.

 

Requirements

  • Your designs are readable at all zoom levels.
  • Your work strengthens the game design.
  • Have a conceptual grip on fractals.

 

Nice to have

  • Experience with Unity.
  • Make procedural art (noise, fractals and shaders).
