Arc Forge is developing a 4-player coop PVE FPS horror/action game for PC in Unreal Engine 5.4.

 

Role Description

  • Contract position for a UI/UX designer
  • Create the overall style and elements for UI for all areas of the game, with a sense of style that is both practical for the genre, eye-catching, and unique. We want something striking that captures the game’s style and identity.
  • Online art coursesBest video game consoles

 

Qualifications

  • Must have a portfolio that showcases UI/UX work in game development. Please ensure this is included in your response.
  • Work in relevant genres (FPS, horror, action, multiplayer) is highly valued.
  • Strong communication skills with an eye on iteration and exploration.
  • Knowledge of Unreal Engine is beneficial, but not required.
  • Experience in industry standard software.

Arc Forge

Arc Forge is an indie game dev studio based in Ontario, Canada. We’re making games that explore three fundamental pillars:

  1. Visceral and satisfying gameplay with depth that challenges players,
  2. Engaging and nuanced cooperative play that puts players in diverse roles, fostering teamwork and tactical decision making,
  3. Weaving stylized, surreal, often horrifying narratives subtly through all the components of the games.

We aim to unite gameplay and narrative into a seamless, group-friendly experience that draws players into our worlds.

We’re looking to work with talented developers, artists, and publishers in Canada or worldwide, especially those interested in eerie storytelling, immersive horror, and rich gameplay.
