CayPlay Studios is looking for a talented Senior 3D Generalist Artist to join our team working on WaterPark Simulator. You'll be responsible for creating (semi)realistic PBR environment assets, as well as models of slides, tools, park decorations, and other waterpark-related assets. This role requires someone who can handle tasks independently, as we often work without concept art. If you're proactive and can manage your own workload, we'd love to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities:

• Create (semi)realistic PBR environment assets
• Design and model various waterpark-related assets (e.g., slides, park decorations, tools)
• Deploy assets into the game using Unity
• Optimize models for performance without sacrificing visual quality

Required Experience:

• Proficiency with 3D modeling software (Blender, Maya, etc.)
• Advanced texturing skills (PBR workflow)
• Experience in Unity engine with ability to deploy and test assets in-game
• Strong understanding of optimization for games
• Proven track record of contributing to a released game
• Ability to work without concept art and take initiative
• Familiarity with version control (Git)

Bonus Skills:

• Experience with VFX (Unity URP, Visual Effect Graph)
• Workflow automation (e.g., Blender scripting)

Additional Details:

• Contract Length: Initially, we’re offering a trial period, after which we may extend the contract.
• Work Environment: 100% remote with flexible hours.
• Salary: $3,000 to $4,000 USD (depending on experience)
