Slug Disco is a UK-based indie game developer and publisher with a focus on niche games, usually with a science or nature theme. We work primarily with small teams, particularly solo developers, to help them bring their games to life.
Despite being fully remote, we try to foster a very collaborative work environment where everyone can work to their strengths, ask for help, and team up on difficult jobs.
As well as bringing new skills into the team, the ideal candidate should also be interested in the sort of games we are working on, ideally both from a development perspective and as a player.
We feel that this is really important for you to be able to enjoy your work, so if you’ve ever wanted to command your own ant colony, design your own creatures, or keep pet beetles, then we’re sure you’ll absolutely love working in our team!

Slug Disco is a UK-based indie game developer and publisher with a focus on nature-inspired titles. Founded by a trio of friends, Slug Disco developed Empires of the Undergrowth, an RTS of ant colonies and insect warfare.
We have since expanded into indie game publishing to help fellow indie game developers nurture their own nature-themed projects, from designing and evolving bizarre lifeforms to building and managing entire ecosystems. We provide support on funding, marketing, localization and other functions so indie game developers can focus on creating the best gaming experience.
