We are seeking a highly motivated Junior Public Relations Executive to join our remote team at Starfall PR. As a Junior Public Relations Executive, you will play an essential role in managing and executing PR campaigns for our clients. You will work closely with senior members of the team to learn about the industry, develop your skills, and contribute to our clients' success.

This role will start as a freelance position (10-20 hours per week) with the opportunity to grow into a full-time role within 3 months.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in planning and executing PR campaigns for our clients, including target outreach, press release writing, events, community management, and social media activities
• Develop and maintain relationships with journalists, bloggers, content creators, agencies, and other members of the media
• Monitor coverage by media and influencers, and report on results to clients and senior members of the team
• Maintain client relationships, including attending meetings, preparing reports, and providing timely responses to client inquiries.
• Conduct research on industry trends, competitor activities, and brainstorm new opportunities for clients
• Support the team with administrative tasks, such as scheduling meetings, managing databases, and preparing presentations

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in public relations, journalism, marketing, or a related field
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a remote team environment
• Knowledge of social media, traditional media, and influencers, and their use in PR campaigns
• Passion for PR and a desire to learn and grow in the field
• Passion for video games, bonus points for indie games
• Having a good understanding of social media platforms and content, events, and/or community management is a plus
• Must have the legal right to work in the United States. Starfall PR won't be able to sponsor work visas.
