We are looking for a freelance skilled Graphics & Tools Programmer. The game is being developed in Unity 2022.3.40f1 using URP with Deferred Rendering and will be released on all major platforms: PC, PlayStation, Xbox, and Nintendo Switch. All graphical work must support these platforms' chipsets and performance requirements.

For which tasks (responsibilities)?
This role involves developing tools and shaders to streamline our animation and rendering pipeline, ensuring efficient workflows for our artists and optimal performance across platforms.
Below are the key tasks you will work on:
Develop an importer that processes spritesheets, automatically:
Slices spritesheets into rows.
Creates animations based on the slices.
Connects the animations to an AnimationController.
Custom ToonBoom Exporter:
Build an exporter to convert artist-preferred workflows (superimposed flipbook-style animations) into well-formatted spritesheets.
Provide an intuitive interface that allows artists to easily export their work for Unity integration.
Custom Sprite Shader:
Create a shader to offset sprite UVs for appropriate view angles in animations.
Ensure support for Fade and Cutout transparency styles, with potential shader variants if necessary.
Add support for edit-time preview of animations.
Custom Essence Shaders (x2):
Create a Darkness and Light effect shaders
Stylized Toon Shader for 3D Environments:
Develop a toon shader optimized for 3D environments, featuring:
Dynamic reactions to real-time lighting, including directional, point, and spot lights.
Blending capabilities for multiple light sources with different colors.
Customizable shadows, allowing sharp black or soft gradients, with optional shadow textures (e.g., grain effects).
Compatibility with fog and post-processing effects for seamless integration.
Accurate light color reflections based on incoming light direction.
Outline effects with adjustable width, detail enhancements, and support for textured outlines.
What kind of professional are we looking for?
Proven experience in animation and rendering pipelines.
Proficiency in Unity, shader development, and experience with tools like Photoshop or Toon Boom.
Advanced English proficiency, both written and spoken, for effective communication with the team and documentation.
